HUISFIT SOLUTIONS
The 62m / 204ft classic schooner Athos returned to her birthplace in Amsterdam for her major conversion - outside and inside. Her stern has been extended by 1.25 meter / 4 feet, a seemingly modest extension. Yet the concave and convex curves of the new section called for exceptional skills in the design and build of the aluminum structure in order to fit perfectly into the aluminum hull. The stern now resembles that of a J Class, albeit one with a custom teak transom.
